Dusty Girls: Pink Ladies*

Blush, Blusher, Rouge. Whatever you call it, we all use it. There's truly nothing better than a flush of blush on the apples of anyone's cheeks to welcome the day in no matter how tired or dull you may feel.

Dusty Girls Blush in Pink Ladies gives a healthy looking glow, which you won't be embarrassed about! The natural oils, Mica and oxides found in the blush has left no room for rubbish such as Talc and Bismuth which are both products you want to avoid when adding a bloom of berry to your cheeks.

Pink Ladies is a well...pink blush, more towards a rose shade with a subtle shimmer running through it. The formulation is smooth, extremely pigmented and glides onto the desired area with complete and utter ease. You can easily build up Pink Ladies to give an overly flushed look if desired, or blend out this bad boy for an extra natural blush.

Personally, as I like a less controlled look to my blush I prefer to use a large synthetic kabuki brush. Dusty Girls do a perfect one to team with this blush and their other cheeky products, it's super soft and extremely dense for an extra delicate application.

Affectionate Love Blush*

When it comes to blusher I've always been either a soft pink or peaches kind of girl. That was until this stunning swirly blush took my fancy over at Born Pretty Store.

This soft, highlighting blusher in shade 01 is a gorgeous coral shade with a pearl highlight running through it. With this blusher a little really does go a long way as it's super pigmented, and very long wearing.

To apply I use my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and press gently onto my cheeks. You really need to tap off any excess or you'll end up with very flushed cheeks. I am also in love with the stunning Metallic packaging that the blusher is in, it's simply beautiful! The blusher also comes with a small brush which for me I haven't used to apply this product, however it's great for highlighting!!

Born Pretty Store are offering my readers a fab 10% off their orders with the code FCGG10, so make the most of it whilst it's in stock!!

Blushing Hearts

Hi Hi Hi

As per usual, Makeup Revolution have released another epic line of products via their I Heart Makeup line; which yes, I bloody love!! To go along with the Blushing Hearts range are these 3 beauts:

Goddess of Faith Highlighter*
Bursting With Love Blusher*
Summer of Love Bronzer*

These three are packed full of pigment, shimmer and highlighting goodness which I find myself craving on a daily basis. Personally, my favourite is Goddess of Faith - a pearly triple baked, champagne shade. I love this as my day to day cheek bone highlight and it also looks perfect used as an inner eye corner highlight too!

Attention please, Dupe Alert

Hello beautiful people

"Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"

I love Nars' blushers and bronzer's but at £22.50-£27 a pop they can sometimes be a little out of reach, especially during the Christmas months!
Nars products for me are a real treat and I see them as an investment as they seem to last forever, for example a Laguna bronzer will last me at least 12 months.

So baring in mind the price and quality of my favourite Nars blusher (Desire), when I found this beauty by Smooch* I was over the moon...yes there was squealing and holding it lovingly to my chest involved!

Sugar Rush is the shade and it is roughly a whopping £20 cheaper than Desire by Nars!
The packaging is very similar and I love the gorgeous pink metallic box with black lace detailing it comes in too; makes the product look so high end!

As you can see from the swatches I have provided there is little to no difference at all, both are matte with a teeny tiny ickle bit of silver glitter in. Sugar Rush is slightly darker, but for me that just means it's more wearable during the winter months!

L - Smooch | R - Nars

The Smooch website is currently having a makeover, but when it's back Sugar Rush can be purchased here

Fashionista Palettes

Hello beautiful people;

"Nothing makes a woman look prettier than a shot of blush"
- Bobbi Brown

Around 6 months ago Fashionista had a HUGE sale online and I took it upon myself to spend spend spend. The brand is already incredibly cheap, and I filled both palettes for around £15!!
I wanted to create a blush palette and a bronzer one, which is exactly what I did.
The pigmentation of these products is insane for the price and they're not chalky at all, they also last all day on your skin and are easy to blend.

Above are the names and below are the swatches!!

Right to left:
Blushing Coral -  blue toned coral
Blushing - muted blue toned pink
Cinnamon - dusty peach

These three really remind me of the Ambient Lightning Blushes by Hourglass!
Milan - blue toned bright pink with pearl finish
New York - pink/peach with champagne undertones
Barcelona -  true champagne colour

Tokyo - neutural brown almost identical to Nars Laguna !!
Paris - slightly orange toned
LA - the colour of milk chocolate
Rome - bronze toned highlighter with a slight peach undertone

These are the best drugstore products I think I've ever come across, brilliant for someone whom wants to start building a kit!
You can buy everything mentioned on the Superdrug website !!

Hope you enjoyed this post
