Drag Queen Grad Ball Realness
"Who even wears these colours" Says our Ellie looking through one of my Mac eye shadow palettes spotting bright lilacs, soft blues and obnoxious greens.
"Clearly me" I respond.
This whole 30 second conversation gets my creative juices flowing and I'm gonna prove you wrong thinking cap on. By the end of tonight ya'll gone see how wearable these shades actually are.
Personal challenge accepted.

Obsession
Hi Hi Hi
I Heart Obsession is a cheeky eye shadow palette range from the Makeup Revolution team via their I Heart Makeup range. It contains 5 palettes, which I own 2 of "Born To Die" and "West End Girls. The other palettes are "Paris", "Pure Cult" and "Wild Is The Wind" and they all contain a different array of colours.
These 5 beauts are all Limited Edition formulated with the newly developed recipe, as are all of the palettes in the range. All palettes contain 10 eye shadows which are a mixture of shimmers and mattes.

Euphoria
Hey Hi Ho
I cannot get enough of Makeup Revolution, I'm totally addicted and their new palette Euphoria Bare*, cos its seriously good; not just the product as a whole, but the price is pretty darn perrrrfect too!
For a mere £6 you receive a professional black & rose gold palette complete with a large mirror for those on the go applications, a selection of 6 eye shadows 2 of which are matte and the rest shimmer. Lastly you have 3 complimenting face products, a matte bronzer, champagne highlight shade and a peach toned mineralize style blush.
I say this every time I do a post on a Makeup Rev palette and that is that the eye shadow double ended "brush" for me is completely pointless, and I would much rather pay a teeny bit more and get a more usable tool.
There a so many options and looks that can be achieved with this palette, and it reminds me a hell of a lot like the new Urban Decay On The Run palette; however this one is £31 cheaper but doesn't include an eyeliner, mascara and lip option. Although you can pick up the same full sized products at a fraction of the cost; still beating the Urban Decay price.
Makeup Revolution are proud of the fact that they do not test on animals, and that all their products are designed & developed in London!
This palette is probably more suited for a pale-medium skinned human, but I could deffo use all shades on my eyes and darker skin! For darker skinned beauties, or those whom just prefer a stronger look try the Bronzed version!
You can purchase both versions of the palette here

Baking with EffStar Beauty
Hello beautiful people
lots of love
Today we are going to learn the basics to the recipe of yummy eyes. The result will be stunning baked goods with extreme shimmer & a beautiful finish.
No soggy bottoms round here !
W7 have a delicious line of baked goods called Yummy Eyes, the shade we will be talking about today is Cafe Late* a gorgeous peachy, cream colour packed full of shimmery goodness.
I love the packaging of these eye shadows, it's very sturdy and has a tiny little mirror inside the lid for those on the go applications.
The colour pay off is very good and the texture isn't chalky at all. One swipe and you're good to go!
I have found lots of uses for this eye shadow, obviously as an all over lid colour but it also looks delightful gently pressed on the tops of your cheek bones and down the centre of the face.
Cafe Late is currently only £2.49 and you can purchase it here as well as lots of other W7 goodies!
Have you tried any W7 products?
lots of love

Revolutionary
Hello beautiful people
"No you won't fool the children of the revolution"
I love a bargain brand that is of exceptional quality, Makeup Revolution truly is Revolutionary.
The products are ridiculously cheap and the quality is exceptionally high.
I'm constantly purchasing their products and testing them out for you guys, so here's a little inside into what has jumped into my Makeup Rev collection recently!
First of all we've got one of the brand spanking new products to launch from these guys, the ONE Blush in the shade Matte Malibu*. This beaut cost's £5 and it's a contour addicts dream, the consistency is very creamy but it dries to a powder finish which means you can achieve a very strong contour with this product. I also have to mention how easy it is to blend, and how delicious it looks even on the eyes.
| Top: Blended Out. Bottom: Swatch |
The second product to grace my makeup collection is the Focus & Fix Eye Primer*. I usually don't go for eye primers because I have very sensitive skin so I just stick to my Mac Paint Pot, but my lord I'm glad I own this! The texture is creamy but it dries semi matte and honestly keeps your eye makeup in place ALL day, even the blackest of black eye shadows stay in place and looking ever so dramatic!
This primer is £2.50....yes....£2.50 and you need it in your life!
Lastly we've got the ever so epic Essential Mattes Eye Shadow Palette* priced at a teeny tiny £4! Everything you need is in this palette, wither you want a natural eye, something a bit brighter or a dramatic smokey eye; it's all in here!
I love that this palette has a lot of different tones in it, as I like to switch my look up a lot and find that most palettes only contain minimal mattes which are usually of a cool toned brown shade!
The only thing that really annoys me about this palette is the eye shadow applicator it comes with, nobody uses them and I'd rather pay a bit more and get a synthetic double ended brush :)
All of these products & more are available on the Makeup Revolution website here

Just watch 'em glitter
Hello beautiful people
"just watch it glitter, glitter, glitter"
Despite the dark eyes, underneath the black clothes and tattoos I am extremely girly and I quiver at the sight of glitter. Naturally I needed to chat about these beaut eyeshadows I have been obsessed with since they were released early 2013.
Urban Decay's Moondust eye shadows are a glitter addicts dream, in total there are 7 shades and I own 3...and of course I will end up owning all of them!
These eye shadow's are finally milled so that they look more sophisticated than slutty, and there is no chunky glitter in them what so ever. The texture is very creamy so they glide on and have minimal fall down, but they dry completely to powder. For extra sparkle the glitters used are 3D and dance when they hit the light.

It's quite difficult to catch the true beauty and shine of these eye shadows, they almost look like water - proper magpie's dream!
To be honest I don't think I could rave about these anymore, their beauty does all the talking !!
These are so easy to use and can transform any makeup look into one ready to hit the town. Perfect for Christmas parties and wintery events so you look like a sassy Snow Queen (insert sassy emoticon).
If you want to purchase these you can do so here :)
lots of love
