Bulletproof

Hey Hey Hey

It's no secret, I like to rock a dark eye so I am constantly on the lookout for a jet matte black eye shadow to up my game with.

On a Christmas trip to Birmingham with my Dad we took a little walk down to Cocktail Cosmetics in the Custard Factory to pick up some of my xmas presents. One of them which happened to be the Sugarpill Pressed Eyeshadow in Bulletproof.

Sugarpill is completely Vegan and Cruelty Free which is just blinking awesome, I'm totally for all of that sort of stuff!
This is my first Sugarpill product, but I am sure it will not be my last! I'm desperate to try out as much as I can get my greedy hands on!

This is by far the best black eye shadow I have ever come across, but I still don't think my journey of searching will stop!

Have you tried any Sugarpill products before?

That's a wrap

Hey Hi Ho

I don't think it's just me when I say that I bloody love a bit of festive wrapping...is it just me? Comment below if you're the same, or else I'm just going to look like a proper sad twit.
Showing your age Eff.

Kinda hoping that somebody out there is interested in seeing what I've used to wrap all my presents in this year, as always though I've done it on the cheap so I spend extra pennies on the people I love!

I really do love old fashioned stuff when it comes to present wrapping, nothing beats brown parcel paper and rough green string does it not? The only thing I think i'm missing are a few little gold bells to add some Xmas magic!

The paper and labels used are both from Poundland, and the string is simple garden twine! Personally I think these look much better under the tree than tacky ribbon and Rudolph paper (no offence or nothing guys!)

What are you using to wrap up your Christmas delights this year?

Hey Hey Hey

It's the middle of December, which means we are well and truly into the party season!
Sometimes it can be super hard picking a makeup look that is 1. affordable, 2. easy and 3. looks glamorous.

Here are some of my favourite looks, done by myself to inspire you!
I am not naming any products, but if you wish to know any then please just comment below, I will be glad to help!

What makeup are you wearing to your big Xmas event?

For Him

Hey Hey Hey

With it being Christmas, a popular gift to go for when buying for that fussy male is always a Lynx Gift Set. I've done one up on that and picked my top 3 fragrances and top 3 skincare bits!

Blanc Pure by Lacoste is described as clean, pure and simplistic. The top notes are Grapefruit, Cardamom, Rosemary and Cedar Leaf. Mexican Tuberose and Ylang - Ylang are the heart notes to this fragrance. Finishing off with a gorgeous Cedar, Leather and Suede tang.

Lacoste Live is the zesty brother of Blanc Pure, it packs a punch and unleashes your imagination. Lime and Saffron are the top notes for Live; Green Leaves and Fresh Aquatic make up the heart notes. The base notes to this fragrance are Liquorice, Sandalwood and Guaiac Wood.

Now for something a little bit grown up, James Bond 007 Gold Signature. This fragrance is dangerously sophisticated and incredibly refined. The scent is very masculine but maintains a freshness, it's top notes are Apple Bergamot and Geranium. Lavender, Cardamom and Rose Thorn are the heart notes, with Vetyver, Patchouli and Sandalwood as the base notes.

Most men won't admit it but they can be quite embaressed to admit they need a good dose of skincare now and then. I've picked these 2 sets from Bulldog Skincare as they're all natural, cruelty free and vegan! I've included a standard set & the sensitive one because it's not just girls who have sensitive skin!!
For a bit of luxury for a man whom shaves I think that Shave Gel by Seascape is perfect! The smell is fresh and divine, and (so I'm told) it doesn't leave your skin feeling uncomfortable and dry like some shave gels can do. I really like that Seascape make all of their products in the UK, and this product is free of parabens, silicones and petroleum just to name a few!

Hope this helps you out when Christmas shopping for your loved ones!

For Her

Hello beautiful

As a woman, I can safely say that we're very difficult to buy for! I have inlisted the help of my brain to help you pick some gorgeous beauty treats for your loved ones!
There really is something for everyone in this post!

Benefit always bring out outstanding Christmas gift sets, and this year they've upped their game with the incredible Cheeky Sweet Spot Palette.
Basically it's all of the popular cheek shades in a Christmas themed tin with an even more exciting price tag! I was fortunate to win this in a giveaway but if I hadn't been so lucky it would deffo be on my Christmas list!
The other little thing from Benefit that I think makes a great pressie is the Badrageous Mascara duo which contains a full size & a travel size Bad Gal Mascara; one of my all time faves!

If you're a regular reader of my blog you'll know how much I love finding a bargain product that works amazingly well, including the W7 In The Buff Palette* for me was a no brainer! Great addition to anyone's makeup collection.

Everyone loves to smell delicious which meant including a fragrance was a must! The one I have chosen is Lacoste's Touch of Pink* which I consider to be quite a classic fragrance as it's been around for years upon years! Touch of Pink is very fruity with floral notes and is simply delicious!

We all have someone whom just loves a luxury skincare item, this year buy them the StyleLux Blackhead Killer Gift Set* as it works wonders and really does keep blackheads at bay! I probably wouldn't suggest buying this for someone whom you don't know well as they might be a tad offended haha.

What is Christmas without a bit of Mac eh? This year Mac have got it right right right with their holiday collections and my top pick is the Objects Of Affection Pigment & Glitter Set in the shade Gold & Beige. Multi use items that come in a cute reusable box. This set is amazing value for money!

#Nextmaswishlist

Hello beautiful people

source
Seeing as it's coming up to Christmas I wanted to include a few of my own wishlists, selfish...I KNOW RIGHT!

Shopping around for family members I stumbled upon the Next website and instead of looking for others I just looked for me haha. SO here is what I've stuck on my Next Wishlist for 2014.

As you can tell from my wishlist, I like the colour black, boots, shoes and sexy bras; oh and the odd bit of homeware.
My taste is simple, and I like to think a bit classy with an edge of goth/grunge. I think my favourite item on this list is the shirt, closely followed by the thigh high boots and then the fedora (hat for ya'll that don't know hat terms).

In case a cheeky family member or friend is looking at this post I would like the boots & shoes in a size 6 and the shirt in a size 16 because I prefer the oversized look yo!

All of these items have been linked under the photo, and I strongly suggest you check out Next Website or your local Next store for reasonably priced, great quality items. One of my favourite high street stores at the moment!

Have you taken part in #nextmaswishlist? If so I want to read your post!

Mm Delicious

Hello beautiful people

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas"

Like most, I am a sucker for a festive drink but at usually £3+ a pop they can be an expensive addiction!
I've started to make my own yummy Gingerbread Hot Chocolate, complete with fluffy mini marshmallows at home for a fraction of the price!

You will need:
Your favourite mug
Handful of mini marshmallows
Gingerbread Syrup
Hot Chocolate

The brands that I have used are my personal favourite, you can use whichever are yours :)

Step 1
Boil your kettle

Step 2
Follow and add the suggested amount of hot chocolate into your mug

Step 3
Add a teaspoon of gingerbread syrup & mix into a paste with the hot chocolate

Step 4
Carefully pour in your boiling water, constantly stirring to avoid nasty lumps!

Ain't no body got time for a lumpy hot choc!

Step 5
Add as many or as little mini marshmallows as you like! You can also add whipped cream or any other topping/s you wish!

ENJOY !

What is your Festive Tipple of choice?
