Video: Primark Haul

If you didn't know, I'm a YouTuber and I just love doing Primark Haul videos. They're my weakness to watch as well as make.
Here is my latest video. So grab a cuppa and sit back, relax and watch my spending habits.

Have you purchased anything awesome from Primark recently?

Why do women...

Another moany post about something that's totally grinding my gears (if you get this reference lesbefriends).

The annual Met Gala took place this week, and what a phenomenal event it was - as per! As expected there was post after post cluttering up my Bloglovin' feed and so many magazine articles covering the fashion of the event. The Met Gala is known for the extensive guest list and luxury, so naturally there were stars studding the red carpet from Rihanna to Kimmy K West to  Helen Mirren. All, in my opinion looking absolutely gorgeous in their own quirky ways.

Now. My favourite looks of the night have to be those worn by Rihanna and Grace Coddington, both stars stayed true to themselves but still pulled off glamour and the Chinese theme extraordinary. However these two seem to be getting the most stick from the bloggers, journos and media which I don't think is very fair. RiRi has been compared to wearing an Omelette as a dress and Grace has been said to of just thrown on her PJ's.

As far as I'm concerned Grace has stuck to the theme and has maintained her standoffish style, and Rihanna looks like she's gone to town with her Disney Princess DVD collection and looks like Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

My point is, these ladies spent hours getting ready and picking the perfect outfit. So who are we to tell them they're wrong for their choice of outfit? Surely we should be celebrating the fact that these inspirational women still wear what they want and feel comfortable in, regardless of the media criticizing them in every single way possible.

Women need to stop pulling each other apart and judging those for what they look like, we are all in the same boat and most of us feel exactly the same. Rather than circuming to the pressure caused by the media, why don't we embrace our inner goddesses and stick together on this one? I don't mean light a fire and dance a native dance around it, just simply be nice. If you don't like an outfit someone is wearing that doesn't make the outfit wrong, or your opinion for that matter. Accept each other for the beautiful creatures we are, rather than tearing each other apart at the seams. Literally.

Calling someone ugly doesn't make you beautiful.

I for one celebrate individuality, do you?

Flower Crown

I often find that the simplest of accessories can make the biggest impact. For me, working in retail means a boring head to toe black uniform which can be incredibly draining when the long days of sunshine start.

To brighten up my basic uniform, I simply added a stunning £3 Primark Flower Crown.

Along with a pop of colour, I find that the crown really helps to add personality to my uniform. Teamed with obnoxiously flicked out eyeliner and a nude lip this crown of floral beauty has left me not just looking like Spring but feeling like Summer.

The flower crown should not be seen as just a festival accessory but a Spring/Summer necessity.

What do you think of the simple flower crown?

What I Wore: Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday is another special occasion where my family enjoy dressing up and making the most of a bank holiday situation. However, this Easter Sunday was also the celebration of my grandparents 60th Wedding Anniversary.

We took the journey to Bakewell near Sheffield, and had a stunning 3 course meal in the Peacock Hotel.
P.S - Ignore my disgusting knees & pasty skin!

What I wore: Dress - Warehouse | Shoes - Primark | Stole - Topshop | Necklace -  Chanel | Hat - Primark

Style Inspo

Photos are all from pinterest
As always, you can find me on pinterest trawling the tags for beauty, style, food & interior inspiration. Today I'm focusing on style, something a little different for my blog but something that I am very into.

My favourite colour is black, always has been and always will be but sometimes all black outfits can look similar. Especially this time of year, there's only so many times you can wear an oversized jumper and leather legging combo. Pinterest is constantly full of style'spo, especially for us whom prefer an edgier look.

Spring 2015 for sure is going to be full of even more oversized jumpers, ripped jeans, leather and thigh high boots. Oh and hats! I do love a good hat!

On my shopping list are:

  • Oversized white shirt
  • Leather leggings
  • More black ripped jeans
  • Pointed boots
  • Silver dainty jewellery

Sandwich SS Press Day

Friday 6th February 2015
Arden Hotel,
Stratford upon Avon

In my home town of Stratford upon Avon we have a lot of up market, boutique shops ran by wonderful eccentric women who really have that passion for fashion. Gemini is one of those beautiful stores, packed full of wonder and style; there's something for everyone in this little place of heaven. This includes the brand Sandwich who's SS collection a handful of us lucky bloggers were able to take a sneak peak of at this very awesome Press Day.

Upon arrival I was greeted with a boom of smiling faces behind the doors of an intimate suite, brimming with sweet treats and rails upon rails of beautiful clothing. I grabbed a glass of fizz before making my way over to what can only be described as "the rail with my name on it" - metaphorical name of course!

The hue of monochrome, clashing patterns and sports luxe look to this rail had me at hello. After a cheeky browse through, I took myself over to a group of bloggers chatting away and introduced myself. With me I'm all or nothing, so I made sure I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and got chatting to some of these wonderful gals.

Sandwich as a brand take the understanding of the style needs of a women and what she requires from an everyday garment, before giving them what they like to call The Sandwich Twist. This can be anything from the 70's spectrum of blues and tie dye, to ruched hems and intricate detailing. Personally, I feel that Sandwich as a brand allow for a lot of diversity within their clothing and the style options really are not only endless but timeless.

I had the pleasure of having an extremely lengthy chat with the beautiful Hannah, whom manages the YSL Counter in the Stratford upon Avon branch of Debenhams. Hannah went into great detail about the selection of products she brought with her, but also the changes YSL are making to their brand. She also gave us a sneaky inside into the new products that will be launching this year, and my oh my I cannot wait to get my hands on a fair few of them.

Lets just say, Instagram Filter in a bottle!

Having a cheeky pose with my favourite item I found in the rails.

Gemini, thank you so much for inviting me to this fun packed intimate event. I truly enjoyed every moment of it, and also thank you for the goodie bag brimming with treats! I cannot wait to see what you guys reveal for the AW Collections!

Absolute Pearls

Hey Hey Hey

I've never been a big romantic, or lover of Valentines Day; to me you should show your loved ones how much they mean to you all the time. Is that just me?

Absolute Pearls I think may of changed my opinion on Valentines Day with their extensive range of pearly jewels, which before I hadn't bat an eyelid at, let alone want something from the collection for Valentines Day.

Pearls can be extremely expensive but they can also end up being pretty rubbish quality too! Absolute Pearls guarantee that quality and consistency throughout their products, without breaking the bank. If you would like advice on guaranteeing your pearls are real please take the time to read this guide.

The necklace pictured is the White Pearl Party* and it makes me feel like a million dollars draped around my collar bones. I found myself prancing around thinking I was Blair Waldorf, in this stunning singular string of Fresh Water Pearls.

You can view all of the special Valentines picks carefully put together by the AP team here ! Items will come boxed and wrapped to save you time, because well not many guys & girls are confident at wrapping!

For me, these say I love you in the classiest way ever. Treat your loved one to something from the Absolute Pearls range and watch their eyes sparkle when indulging that first breathtaking look at them.

#Nextmaswishlist

Hello beautiful people

source
Seeing as it's coming up to Christmas I wanted to include a few of my own wishlists, selfish...I KNOW RIGHT!

Shopping around for family members I stumbled upon the Next website and instead of looking for others I just looked for me haha. SO here is what I've stuck on my Next Wishlist for 2014.

As you can tell from my wishlist, I like the colour black, boots, shoes and sexy bras; oh and the odd bit of homeware.
My taste is simple, and I like to think a bit classy with an edge of goth/grunge. I think my favourite item on this list is the shirt, closely followed by the thigh high boots and then the fedora (hat for ya'll that don't know hat terms).

In case a cheeky family member or friend is looking at this post I would like the boots & shoes in a size 6 and the shirt in a size 16 because I prefer the oversized look yo!

All of these items have been linked under the photo, and I strongly suggest you check out Next Website or your local Next store for reasonably priced, great quality items. One of my favourite high street stores at the moment!

Have you taken part in #nextmaswishlist? If so I want to read your post!

lots of love
