Video: Primark Haul

If you didn't know, I'm a YouTuber and I just love doing Primark Haul videos. They're my weakness to watch as well as make.
Here is my latest video. So grab a cuppa and sit back, relax and watch my spending habits.

Have you purchased anything awesome from Primark recently?

Return of the Mac

Hello beautiful people

"So i'm back up in the game"

I think it's been a bit too long since I did one of these posts! My spending has been minimal the last few months and so my Mac habit has suffered miserably :'(

Because I deserve treats I have purchased 4 new things, 3 of which are limited edition (sorry bout it) and they're pretty much all things you're bound to hate or be scared of.

Again, sorry bout it!

All items have been purchased by myself :)

The first two items are from the 2014 Holiday Collection Heirloom Mix & are both pressed pigments. These two are so beautiful and very appropriate for the Christmas Party season ahead of us, use on their own or as an addition to a standard dark smokey eye for added Xmas drama.
As you can see from the swatches they're heavenly pigmented and extremely buildable.

Before Fabb Birmingham the other week I took a little trip to Mac to purchase a new powder and have a peek at the Artificially Wild Collection that I've been lusting over since the photos were leaked months ago.
I left with Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in Medium Plus and the Artificially Wild eye shadow in Natural Wilderness.

All of these products are right up my street and I couldn't leave them behind, especially the eye shadows not just because of their beauty but the fact they're Limited Edition!
Keep your eyes peeled for looks using these products coming soon!

HAULLLLL

Hello beautiful people

"I would stop shopping, but I'm not a quitter"

Over the past few weeks I've picked up a few bits here and there so I thought I'd show you what I've purchased because you're all nosy parker's just like me!

Because everyone and their mums are talking about it I had to purchase Dior's Star Foundation and try it for myself, and needless to say I absolutely love it! A full review will be coming soon :)

I love Back2Mac and I take advantage of it around 4/5 times a year, well I am a hardcore Mac fan aren't I?  So it was that time where I was ready to cash in my 6 empties for a free lippy woohoo! I went for Impassioned which is a beautiful red toned pinky coral colour with an amplified finish.

My skin has been pretty bad this month and I saw that the wonderful Jeffree Star used Lush's Mask of Magnaminty to keep him blemish free. I wanted to try it as soon as I saw his recommendation, I purchased the Self Preserving version as it has more moisturing ingredients than the standard one.

The next item I purchased is a discontinued Urban Decay eye shadow in the shade Acid Rain. I think this shade is still available but in the new packaging :)

Now I don't usually buy from Barry M unless it's nail varnish but my mum was having a browse at the lip products when I spotted their Loud Mouth extreme lip colour in the shade Diva. I love how glossy these are, great for a dramatic evening look.

Last but not least I caved in and purchased the Lime Crime Velvetine in Wicked. Oh my how I adore this lip product, it's extremely long lasted and doesn't feather like the cheaper brands. Everyone raves about these so I thought I would insert a photo with me wearing it :)

lots of love

American Apparel Nail Varnish Review!

Hello beautiful people;

"NAILED IT!"

Yes, American Apparel you most certainly have!

Recently Selfridges had an epic sale on so I made the most of the 50% off on American Apparel nail varnishes and picked up three colours for the total price of £10.50!!

I've been searching for the perfect nude nail varnish for my skin tone and I was automatically drawn to Mouse which is a medium toned brown. If you know me you'll understand how much I adore anything in a bright green/chartreuse colour so Crescent Heights pretty much screamed at me to buy it! The last shade I picked up was a lonely looking bottle of pretty dull orangeness called Sunset Boulevard which is a perfect summer shade without being too loud!!

I'm not huge on  nails, I can go weeks without painting them and walking around with chipped nails which isn't a good thing for a beauty blogger to confess. But come on, I'm only bloody human! These AA varnishes give me a good 7 days of colour with little to no chipping, plus they stay so glossy unlike a lot of nail varnishes on the market! So for all you lazy nail girls like me they're a must have!!

They usually retail at £9 which for a nail varnish is pretty steep, but you get a lot of product and the product itself is epic 10/10 for sure!
I've already got my eye on a few more including the Holographic one, Summer Peach and Neon Violet. The metallic range is something that also is tickling my taste buds but I'm going to wait until Winter to rock those shades, specifically Bronze Dash (ooh la la!).

What is your favourite brand of nail varnish?

HAUL TIME !!

Hello beautiful people;

It's official, I cannot stop buying things!! But now I seem to be saying "Francesca you need things to blog about now, so this is completely acceptable", I am right in thinking that aren't I?
YouTube is my biggest downfall, I see someone use something and I just HAVE to own it. Plus my staff discount makes things so much easier to justify!

Lets get onto the haul then!
I took a little trip to Birmingham & as expected I found myself in Debenhams trying to spend my money, I had a browse around Chanel, YSL and Benefit but nothing caught my eye so I practically sprinted to Urban Decay. On the front counter I saw some beautiful red labels with the word SALE on them. Well didn't my little heart go mad!
I ended up just coming away with one item as I already own most of what is in the sale and that is one of the 24/7 eye shadow pencil's in Clash, a beautiful vibrant sky blue shade. These eye shadow pencils are in the process of being discontinued so they're only £9.80 at the moment! I love them because they're basically a chubby 24/7 liner!!
I also re-purchased a handbag sized All Nighter setting spray which is by far the best setting spray I've ever used, the full size is £20 and the handbag size is a mere £9!! It's worth trying out for just £9! Whilst stood at the till I spotted a handbag sized b6 complexion spray. In a nutshell it reduces redness and pore size, plus helps to absorb oil. I will be doing a full review soon!

The next day I had a little stroll into the town where I live in look for some new skincare, I kind of had in mind what I wanted so I took myself to lush! I wasn't a huge fan of Lush but my lord these two products have converted me! I pick up the Oatifix face mask to hydrate my skin and the Angels on Bare Skin cleanser/exfoliant. They both smell divine, Oatifix smells like flapjack!!
Must haves for dry skin sufferers!
Again, I couldn't help myself but to have a browse in Debs and strangely I found myself at the Lancome counter. I ended up purchasing another sale item which is the Flash Bronzer, it's a gradual tanning gel for your face! I'm yet to try this so keep your eyes peeled for a review coming soon!
On the way home I "accidentally" passed Space NK and naturally I couldn't resist a peek at the Nars counter, and yes I went home with one of their Radiant Creamy Concealers in Custard (god I love that name!!).

Have you tried any of these products before?

Thank you for reading!

MAC Haul

Hello beautiful people;

Today I was a bit naughty and I treated myself to 4 MAC items when visiting Merry Hill.
2 of the items were on my weekly wishlist, 1 is something I ALWAYS buy and the last was something that I'd tried and tested and needed to own !!

Disclaimer.
Fortunately, I do work for Debenhams so I am lucky enough to get 20% off MAC and I purchased everything with my own money. Make Up is my passion and I work hard for what I own. The prices below are before any discount is applied.

The items I purchased are (left to right, top to bottom):
MAC face and body foundation in N2 £21.50
MAC lipglass in Myth £14
MAC travel size fix+ £8
MAC amplified lipstick in Morange £15

For me this is a very small haul and half of the items I did actually need. The lip products are two things I've wanted to add to my collection for a long time.
The items I have purchased are definitely going to be some of my most used products this summer, the colours are perfect and the face & body foundation is the right consistency for summer.
I am so surprised at how little I purchased as I have a list of MAC items to buy the length of my arm!

Have you tried any of these products?
Or do you have any Summer products you think I should try?

Thank you for reading !!
lots of love, effstarbeauty x
