This is Halloween #3

Hello beautiful people

"In this town we call home, everyone hail to the pumpkin song"

I bloody (ha see what I did there) love Halloween!! This is the first time I've played with real Special FX Fake Blood and I loved it, this one was kindly given to me by Laukrom at an event and it's amazing - doesn't stain or anything!

For base I have used a flawless matte foundation and a small amount of matte bronzer to contour and add shape.

Brows were pretty simple too, just a trusty black gel eyeliner; I wanted to really go over the top! I brushed my brows up more than usual to create a more textured look.

On my eyes I have used a red toned brown in the crease & as my transition colour. The black is a black eye shadow pencil blended out with a matte black eye shadow pressed on top and blended out.
Underneath my eye I blended it down quite low and only used the black products, no red.

Again, I used the same gel eyeliner to draw the cross on my forehead using a very thin eyeliner brush.

The blood used is of a gel consistency which makes it super easy to work with an it stays looking glossy and life like. To apply I used a synthetic thin eyeliner brush, makes it extra easy to clean off!!

Do you want to purchase this blood, well you can do so here!

Happy Halloween!!

This is Halloween #2

Hello beautiful people

"In this town we call home, everyone hail to The Pumpkin Song"

Now dressing up isn't for everyone, some people just like to wear some devil ears and black lipstick. If this is you, well my latest Halloween treat is going to be right up your street!

Halloween for me revolves around beautiful dark, gothic colours. I love the purple tone that is associated with Witches so I've come up with a fairly simple look that could be rocked on a night out. This look has enough Halloween drama without the costume and frills, I hope you like it as much as I do!

To achieve this look I have taken a purple base and packed on a vibrant, darkish purple and blended out with a matte dusky pink eye shadow. In the crease and outer V I have added a matte black into the equation to darken the eyes and create depth.

For the brow bone I used a very obnoxious pearly white highlight shade to really help my eyes to have that drag queen style pop to them.

On the lower lash line I have followed the same steps as my lids, but I have smudged down a black eyeliner to darken the look. I've then layered on a really black, lengthening mascara. You could use big lashes but I decided against it for this post.
You could always add liquid liner to this look for extra extra gothic glamour but I wanted to keep this look uber simple, and I know a lot of people dread liquid liner!

For lips I have taken a deep plum shade lip liner and filled in the whole of my lips, before adding a very glittery and over the top mauve toned lipstick.

I have decided to not name products in this post because I don't want people to think that they can't achieve it using certain things. If you do want to know the exact products I used please feel free to comment below :)
Also, I haven't edited any of these photos so you can catch as much of the real beauty of my chosen colours as possible!

This is Halloween

Hello beautiful people;

"Tender lumplings everywhere, life's no fun without a good scare"

Halloween is my favourite time of year, I love the dressing up and copious amounts of scary sweeties but it's also a good time for experimenting with makeup.

Makeup really makes a costume, and Halloween makeup can be as made as simple or complex as you like! Some people opt for half faces because its easier than making everything symmetrical; this is a good tip if you want to experiment but aren't overly confident.

Another good tip is don't be afraid to use makeup in different ways, eye shadows on cheekbones, lipstick on eyes. In makeup there are no rules, so go crazy!

I was sat in my bedroom the other day and thought I would do something pretty and colourful that isn't too difficult to recreate or take inspiration from.
I haven't done this like a tutorial because I think it would be far too lengthy for a blog post.

I opted for a pretty Sugar Skull, what do you think?

Anybody that knows me understands my love for glitter and rhinestones, so I did go a little crazy; but hey....its Halloween guys!! I used a blue Mac eyeshadow to contour with and decided against anything on the eyes.

Personally I love this crazy look and it was very simple to put together, everything I used I already owned so it was cheap too!

I've popped a little video to help you get into the Halloween spirit even more!
